Staka is a creamy cheese from milk, lightly salted and stored. Once a sufficient amount is collected, it is heated on low heat for several days with a small amount of flour added, separating the proteins from the fat. The fat is collected separately and make the famous stakovoutyro , while the white and dense mass of proteins is the renowned staka.
